New Music: Tropics Returns

It's a fine day when Touch Loops co-founder (Chris), Tropics returns with new music. In an evolution of his sounds, Tropics career has seen him effortlessly glide from beats to hip-hop, jazz to electronica and in this latest step, post punk!

Released on his new Label 'Modern Entity', this is the first in a new offering for Tropics in 2025.

About the process:

I wanted to write something that felt dusty, dry and rocky that reflected the atmosphere and landscape of my city, LA. The pollution, the occasional overwhelming anxiety around social life, how we medicate that, meditate it and articulate it. The song is driven, melodic yet disorientating.
